That load would be dead on the crosshairs at 25 yards, 2" high at 50, and then back to zero at 100 yards. If you are only using 50-60 grains of 777, then you are probably off the paper low at 100 with a 50 yard zero. WebDec 12, 2010 · Loc: Kentucky. I was calculating some ballistics on my .204 ruger and i computed everything with a 50 yd zero and i found that it would only be 0.9 inch high at 100 yards, 0.7 inch high at 200 and -3.2 low at 300. I know that the .204 is a very flat shooting gun but i just dont know if it would be a good idea or not to sight in at 50 yards.
