Web17 ott 2013 · In order to get the best ratio for your Wrangler you will want to play with this until you get the desired RPMs. The RPM range that is typically accepted as best is between 2000 and 3000 for the 4.0 L HO engine. My recommendation is to go with 4.88 gears if you have an automatic transmission. That way you leave yourself open to running 37" tires in the future. 5.12 gears are recommended for a manual transmission.
