WebMay 26, 2009 · Welcome to the world of header paint. There are only three coatings that work on headers. High temp ceramic (HPC, Jet Hot, etc), porcelain, or aluminum sprayed. Oh yea and I certainly was NOT expecting miracles. But I thunk it would be like previous applications where I used VHT. Every year I'd repaint or touch them up and it worked fine.
