It measures the number of seconds it takes for a clot to form in a sample of blood after substances (reagents) are added. What happens if PTT is high? WebHigh levels of APTT in the blood indicate a variety of health problems. If your blood APTT level is between 22 seconds and 35 seconds, you probably do not have an underlying health problem.
