I went for the extra payload. I got about 5 inches of lift, but after all those miles hard to say how much was the settled springs and how much was over stock. A lifted Excursion I can run 50 mph across the field and still fit in the garage. For those that like a stiffer ride or have a custom front bumper, or a winch the X-codes up front are the way to go.
